This is the second chapter of the popular RPG and follows on after the conclusion of the original Witcher game from 2007.Game players take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, a specialist in the art of sword fighting and an expert monster eradicator, who has accepted a special assignment from the King - Foltest of Temeria.
You will have to outwit your adversaries as you attempt to investigate the assassinations of several rulers of the Northern Kingdoms and at the same time pursue your own personal quest which is to unearth your own identity. This game features three separate storyline threads, the outcomes of which are completely dependent on the strategy adopted by the gameplayer. Throughout the game you will need to re-evaluate past decisions to prepare yourself for future consequences and you will come across different characters depending on your chosen course of action.
The game boasts a mature storyline (suitable for 18+), violent but sophisticated combat scenes and stunningly presented visuals; in fact the whole game is more stylish and further advanced than its predecessor.
