I used to use a Joytech component video switch as I had an Xbox and SkyHD with a surround sound system Then Sky replaced my box for one without component outputs and I was stuffed. I needed an HDMI/TOSLINK switch, and the search was a little frustrating. Most HDMI switches assume you dont need seperate audio - or they are insanely expensive. So it was a relief to find this bit of kit. Setup was straightforward, plug and go. The colors of the unit complement the SkyHD/360 Elite. The unit stays cool, which is a relief for a 360 owner. Switching from one source to another is fast, with little signal distortion - I occasionally see a message on the xbox stating "hdcp connection restored".
