Two words for this game - Totally awesome!

Best NFS update after First Underground. It has taken a huge leap towards reality and simulation from the usual arcade driving. This works for me!

You've got several real life tracks in this game and huge load of cars. Was very awesome to go round in a Nordscleife with a same car I've got. This is one of those games that makes you buy a wheel & pedals -set. I got myself G25 from logitech. Big money, but BIG fun!

I'd give this game 9/10 or even perhaps 10/10...so let's make it 9½/10.

Need For Speed is one of the best-loved and most successful driving game next to Gran Tourismo - and now it's grown up! By starting out on a short race around Brands Hatch NFS asses your driving skills. What grabs your attention in this game is the striking crisp graphics and the fluent realistic handling, that and the potential of unlocking bags of exotic cars including the Pagani Zonda and Koenigsegg CCX!
The career mode is awesome in this game, to progress through the game, you must win stars, which are given out for finishing on the podium. Your style of driving is also rated; Points are awarded for two opposite aspects aggression and precision. Those who playing the game seriously will want to gain points for precision, but if you fancy going crazy you can still get points for pushing the other cars off the track! Also the car customization is a lot easier too, all the possible upgrades are there to give your car a new look or fine tune them to the way you like them.
This game is one that you will definitely pick up again once it has been completed. So, if you're a fan of the original NFS's, but like me, was hugely disappointed with the last few releases, then you'll certainly be impressed with this game Shift is no doubt a big step in the right direction to bringing the 'Need for Speed' name back to the top!
