    mario and sonic at the olympics games is based on the beijing 2008 olympics.you play as characters from sonic and mario.there is 16 normal events for e.g javelin,100 metres,cycling so on and so forth.there is three you have to unlock 400 metres,400 metres hurdles,10m platform.there is 8 dream events, basketball,canoe,boxing,table tennis,fencing,long jump,shooting and race.circuit is where you play in a series of evetns eg long jump 100 metres and javelin and battling for the trophy.and every time you win you unlock another circuit.mission is where you play a character eg yoshi and play his 5 best events once you clear all 5 missions you have a trophy.versus play is where you play againsts youre friends on multiple ds.gallery is where you gather knowledge on other olympics in the past .you also play minigames,5 per olympics.this game is fantastic and its well worth the money
