This game is based on the character Jack & his sidekick dog Shadow. Jack is a cop who puts his life on the line for his job but when the city & police department are taken over by an organisation his world changes & he is being hunted from all sides & needs to put a stop to it all. After his father is killed he wants only one thing... revenge!! The action gets more fiesty & the enemys even harder.
First off this game is basically a 3rd person shooter, the action is nothing new & basic in design. The camera can sometimes feel a little slow & movement a bit restricted but once you learn to deal with it you can get on with taking out the enemy at hand. The action is by no means fast paced except at very rare stages, you just shoot then move on, shoot then move on ... ect but to me it never got boring, I still play this game & the length is good. What makes parts of this game different is the fact you can play as his dog Shadow, these sections are very different & make a nice change. Some parts are stealth like when playing as shadow & you can sneak around using a sort of heat detecting element just like in batman: Arkham asylum. These are good but slow levels but the way shadow moves is suprisingly good. Other parts have you running round fast trying to take out enemies & keep Jack safe, these are good parts too & you can take the bad guys down in great gory scenes, biting just about any part of their body (yes there is a trophy for attacking them in that area)
Although the gameplay is not varied its still enough to keep you wanting more & overall id have to say this is a good game & worth a try if you enjoy 3rd person shooters.
i'd give this game 7/10 & recommend it to everyone as its better than youd think
