I wondered whether or not to buy this game because of the negative feedback I read. However, in the end I picked up a copy for £19.99. Straight away I really enjoyed it, the modes are great story, arcade, vs. and online. Online has a really good touch where you can make your own room and check user's stats before playing them so you can play matched games. Most of all this game is fun to play and not hard to play either and the special moves are great. The only let down is that the facilities are rubbish, I understand they numbed the gore due to the 15 rating and probably to not get blasted by people saying 'kids will think it's ok to pull someone's spine out now' BUT it's not the lack of gore which makes them rubbish it's the lack of imagination - it's as if they really couldn't be bothered. Good rent, but I would buy especially because the low prices you can get it for if you browse the net enough or even better let find-games.co.uk do it for you!
